Open AgreementWe accept several forms of payment. In fact, we’re one of the few agencies that allow you to pay for a car rental or van rental with a debit card. We accept all of the following:
- Debit Card
- Visa
- American Express
- Discover
- Mastercard
Renters and approved drivers must be at least 21 years old. Drivers ages 21 to 24 may be charged a young driver fee of $27 per day. Drivers under 21 are not permitted.
All renters and approved drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Digital, temporary, suspended, revoked, restricted, or modified licenses are not accepted. We may also review driving history, credit, or insurance records to confirm rental eligibility.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right insurance coverage for your rental. The Rental Agreement requires renters to maintain auto insurance during the rental period, including liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage that applies to the rental vehicle. Optional protection products may be available, but they do not cover every situation and may include exclusions.
Yes. Additional charges may apply depending on your rental. These can include taxes, fees, surcharges, optional services, excess mileage, late returns, tolls, traffic or parking violations, refueling, cleaning, young driver fees, senior driver fees, return/drop-off fees, unauthorized travel fees, replacement keys, EV charging costs, returned payments, collection costs, and additional driver fees when applicable. Your Rental Agreement will outline the charges that apply to your rental.
Yes. Additional drivers may be added if they meet the rental requirements and are approved by Connect Auto Rental. Each approved driver must have a valid driver’s license, meet the minimum age requirement, and be listed on the Rental Agreement. Additional driver fees may apply.
Travel is only allowed within the area approved in your Rental Agreement. This may include a specific mileage radius, travel within the rental state, or another approved area. Driving outside the approved area may result in additional fees or violate the Rental Agreement. Vehicles may not be driven outside the continental United States.
Contact Connect Auto Rental and the police as soon as possible after any accident, damage, theft, or vandalism. You will also need to complete Connect Auto Rental’s incident report form. Failing to report an issue may violate the Rental Agreement and could affect available insurance or protection coverage.
Contact Connect Auto Rental for next steps. If roadside assistance was offered and purchased, the terms of that coverage will apply. If roadside assistance was not purchased or is not available, you are responsible for any related costs, including locksmith service, towing, tire repairs, or fuel delivery.
Please return the vehicle in the same general condition you received it. A cleaning fee may apply if the vehicle is returned with excessive stains, trash, dirt, odors, pet hair, or signs of smoking or vaping.
